Countless moments make a summer at Beber unforgettable, and Friday night Shabbat is one of them. Every Friday evening, the entire camp community gathers together in the amphitheater to welcome Shabbat through song, prayer, reflection, and celebration. As a Kehilah Kedosha (Sacred Community), campers and staff pause from the excitement of camp to celebrate Jewish life, reflect on the week they've shared, and connect in a meaningful way. Whether it's singing prayers and melodies, hearing campers lead parts of the service, or simply sitting alongside friends as the sun begins to set, these moments become lasting memories and an important part of the Beber experience.

This summer, our new Friday Night Siddurim became part of those special Friday night gatherings. As campers filled the Amphitheatre with singing, prayer, and reflection, these Siddurim helped guide each service, creating a shared experience that connected our entire camp community. Our families and alumni have already contributed in a meaningful way, either through sharing their own traditions, and having their campers' create artwork for the pages, making each Siddur a reflection of the Beber community itself.
