3-Day Camping Trips: What to Know

Choosing Your Three-Day Trip Adventure

Each of our three-day trips offers a unique and unforgettable adventure! Campers will have the opportunity to select both a first-choice and second-choice trip from the available options. While we always strive to place every camper on their first-choice trip, some adventures have limited capacity, so a second-choice placement may occasionally be necessary.

We encourage campers to choose the trip that truly interests them. Every trip is filled with exciting experiences, new friendships, and opportunities to grow. Campers quickly bond with others who share their enthusiasm, creating memories that last long after summer ends. One of the goals of the camp experience is to try a variety of trips over the years and discover all the adventures camp has to offer!

Trip Offerings

Canoeing

Campers and staff spend 3 days canoeing down the Wisconsin River. All gear is packed in waterproof bags inside canoes! Campers then set up camp each night on sand banks, and get to fall asleep under the stars. Campers must take a canoeing hobby prior to joining this trip.

Biking

Fitted to their own personal bike - campers bike 30-60 miles through Wisconsin's Elroy-Sparta bike trails. All supplies follow along in a van, as the trip bikes through tunnels, trees, and fields. For any camper who can ride a bike, but campers are encouraged to take the biking hobby at camp prior to the trip if this is something they are interested in doing.

Outdoor Sports Adventure

Outdoor Sports Adventure (OSA) covers it all! This trip offers plenty of time to play group games and enjoy some fun competition through a variety of sports and activities. Campers will also have the opportunity to relax on the beach and attend a minor league baseball game!

Campers will have the opportunity to rock climb, rappel, and hike through the stunning scenery of one of Wisconsin's amazing state parks! A sunrise hike is one of the highlights of this experience. If your camper has ever wanted to catch their own fish and eat it for dinner, then this is the trip for them! No experience necessary, just as long as campers are excited and comfortable on a fishing charter boat.
