Beber Camp Alumni

For over 50 years, Beber Camp has created life-changing summers for campers and staff, and memories that last a lifetime. Today, thousands of alumni around the world look back on Beber as the place where some of their happiest, most formative moments began.

Is Beber where you…

  • First welcomed Shabbat?
  • Tried water skiing for the very first time?
  • Met a lifelong best friend?
  • Took your first bite of that unforgettable Elegant Farmer pie?
  • Raced up the 72 Steps?
  • Deepened your Jewish identity and connection to Israel?

"Am I a Beber Camp Alumni?"

I went to Beber for one summer when I was 10… You’re an alum!

I worked at Beber but haven’t stayed connected… You’re an alum!

I spent years as a camper and now my children attend… You’re an alum!

If you’ve spent even one summer at Beber Camp, you are part of our alumni community. No matter how much time has passed since your last Beber summer, the magic never fades, you are forever a Beberite.

As an Alumni, how can I stay involved with Beber Camp?
There are so many ways to reconnect and give back as an alum. You could:

Make a donation to the Beber Camp annual fund to support camper scholarships and infrastructure projects!

Attend one of our year-round alumni events, such as our Happy Hours or Alumni Reunion!

Co-lead a Three-Day Trip!

Join us as an Artist-in-Residence (skill dependent)!

Be a Taste of Beber Counselor (28–30 June)!

Speak to our Internship Cohort about your professional journey!

Support camp during busy days throughout the summer at your convenience!

Interested? We’d love to hear from you, email Morgan at morgan@bebercamp.com

Schedule an Alumni Visit
Alumni Visitor Policy

‍We are thrilled to have you as a potential visitor to Beber Camp, and we want to ensure that everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience. Our visitor policy outlines the guidelines and expectations for all visitors. We take the safety and security of our campers and staff very seriously, and we ask that all visitors follow our policies and procedures to help maintain a positive and safe environment. We hope this policy provides clarity and answers any questions you may have about visiting Beber. Thank you for your cooperation.

Alumni Reunion Years

If you wish to visit camp during a year that we are hosting an Alumni Reunion, please plan to visit during that weekend. The next Alumni Reunion will be held in August 2027, dates are to be confirmed but will be released in the fall of 2026.
In case you're unable to attend the reunion but would like to visit camp, we would love to have you for lunch. Alumni are invited to arrive at 12:00 pm and check in at Sycamores, after which they can proceed to the dining hall. We kindly request that all alumni depart by 1:30 pm and refrain from entering the lower camp area. We will arrange for you to have an escorted tour. To ensure that we can accommodate all visitors, we have a maximum of 4 people per day, and we require at least 2 weeks' notice prior to your intended visit. We love when alumni visit but it’s important that staff focus on this generation of campers.

‍Please contact Harrell Wittenstein at harrell@bebercamp.com to set up a time visit.
