Meet the Athletic Coaches of #3bc16
Hi everyone, I am Mina Fedderly and I will be introducing our new Wellness Hobby!
Since I am majoring in Community Wellness at Bradley University, class of 2019, I thought it would be an awesome idea to incorporate my learning and passion for wellness into a hobby! This hobby is going to include a day of nature hiking, art therapy, a yoga class, learning how to make healthy snacks, and lastly, learn how to make our own facial scrubs! This hobby will give kids the opportunity to change their lifestyles into a healthier one, by doing little that will benefit themselves and others! The little steps you do every day, will benefit you in the long run, even by laughing! Did you know that laughter boosts your immune system and decreases stress hormones???? Well now you do!
Smile and breath(:

I cant wait to spend a safe and fun summer at the archery range!

Hi, I’m Zoey from Highland Park, Illinois.
This will be my ninth summer at camp. During my summers as a camper at Beber Camp I loved being outside and being active. This summer you’ll find me over at the gaga pit, or playing some foursquare as your concrete schoolyard coach.
Hi everyone! My name is Sarah Wasserman and I’m from Solon, Ohio, and this will be my 9th summer at Beber!
I just finished my freshman year at Indiana University in Bloomington, I am a Speech and Hearing Sciences major, and could not be more excited to return in the fall! I am also very excited to be the fitness coach once again, and have my first run as Ramot staff! I am excited to teach the campers how to live a healthy life, run fun and interactive sessions while focusing on proper techniques and forms, and to teach my sport: boxing! I have been boxing for about 2 years now, and I truly love it. It instills a sense of power and confidence in everyone it touches, and I can’t wait to spread it to the kids! When I’m not boxing, you can find me hanging out with my friends and family, studying, painting and coloring, or at physical therapy!
I cannot wait for this summer to start!!!
My name is Noah Grossman and I will be the league specialist this summer!
This is my 9th summer at camp and first year on staff. I am from Chesterfield, Missouri and will be attending Indiana University in the fall. Go Hoosiers! I love sports and especially tennis since I have been playing since 6th grade. We will be playing a different sport every single day so it is going to be a really fun hobby, and of course there is a lot of competition involved. A fun fact about me is that I have been to 3 different countries!
Can not wait to see you all on the courts soon!
Hi I’m Jenny Scheck, and I’m the cheerleading specialist! Last year as a
CIT, I created the cheer hobby, and it was a huge success! I have cheered for four years competitively and four years on my high school team. I also coached cheerleading for Special Olympics for three years, as well as an all-star mini level 1 team for one year. Cheerleading is a great addition to Beber as it builds values of teamwork, positivity, and camaraderie while doing something challenging, yet fun and rewarding.
