Who We Hire

The key to a successful summer is the quality of the staff. Maintaining a beautiful facility and implementing a dynamic program is only meaningful if our staff supports the mission of providing a safe and caring environment for our campers.

Parents trust our staff to take care of their most personal prized possessions – their children. As a result, Beber’s leadership team considers the selection of our counselors to be our most important responsibility as directors.

We take staff hiring extremely seriously and look to hire mature, compassionate and responsible individuals who are dedicated to giving campers the best summer of their lives. We select sensitive and enthusiastic individuals who are dedicated to working with children. Our staff is comprised of college and high school coaches, teachers, undergraduate and graduate students.

All Beber staff candidates must complete a written application, a phone interview as well as submit references and undergo a comprehensive background check.

Once a candidate is offered a position at Beber, a signed contract must be returned within 30 days and agree to participate in all pre-camp staff trainings and adhere to Beber’s Personnel Practices.
