Hobbies

Hobbies are activities that campers choose while at camp. Each day there are three hobbies (see daily schedule). Typically, campers participate in 5 sessions of one hobby.  Over the course of a camp session, a camper will participate in 9 hobbies.  The goal is to allow campers to develop skills at their own pace, interact with children from other cabin groups, and of course, have fun!

All campers receive the Beber Big Book of Hobby Choices.  Click here for an example.  You can also read a sample list of hobbies below.

At 12 years old, this is her first camp experience since the age of 5 that she has enjoyed! [She] attended camp with her best friend [name omitted]. [Her friend] asked us if [our daughter]…” Anonymous Beber Camp Parent
